Delicious homemade ice lollies

Fruit Ice Cream Lolly.It doesn’t matter how old you get. Munching on an ice lolly is one of the best parts of summer. But, most lollies are filled with sugar and will kill your diet, so why not make your own homemade ice lollies to enjoy with friends and family members all summer long? All you need is a mould and you’ll be on your way to making delicious and nutritious ice lollies.

Jamie Oliver’s Breakfast Lollies

To make this delicious treat that you can enjoy all day long, blend 1 large banana, 50g of porridge oats, 300g of mixed berries, and 400 mls of organic apple juice together. You can also add a bit of honey for some added sweetness. Then, just pour them into your moulds and let them freeze for at least 2 hours.

Mango and Lime Lollies

To make this tangy treat, just combine 2 fresh mangoes with the zest of 1 lime, 60mls of lime juice, and 80mls of coconut milk. If you want to squeeze your own lime juice, you will need 1 – 2 fresh limes. Once you blend everything together thoroughly, you can place them in the freezer for about 6 hours then enjoy

Striped Strawberry and Cream Lollies

For this cute and fun lolly, you’ll need to prepare the strawberry and cream stripes separately.

For the strawberry stripe, you will need to blend about 500g of strawberries with 250mls of water and a small amount of honey. That’s about 10 strawberries that you’ll be using.

For the cream stripe, you will need to blend together 1 can of coconut milk with 1/5 of a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Begin by pouring the strawberry stripe to 1/3 of the height of the mould. Put it in the freezer for about 45 minutes so that it’s semi-solid, then add the cream stripe up to 2/3 of the height of the mould. That should go in the freezer for about 30 minutes, and then you can add the strawberry mixture up to the top. Freeze for about 6 hours.

Creamy Orange Lollies

These sweet and creamy orange lollies are sure to please anyone. To make them, blend together 250mls of coconut milk, 60mls of coconut water, ½ an avocado, 2 peeled mandarin oranges, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, a pinch of grated orange rind, and 1/3 of a teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Freeze for about 4 hours then enjoy!

Chocolate Fudge Lollies

To make these smooth chocolate fudge lollies that are the perfect desert for any summer meal, blend together 250g of avocado flesh, 500mls of unsweetened coconut milk, 150g of coconut sugar, and 90g of raw cacao powder.  Once blended, freeze them for 8 hours before eating.
