How did Beyonce get her Met Gala body?

Beyonce looked amazing last week at Met Gala in New York. But just how did she get that beautiful slim body? What diet has she been trying now?

Beyonce is known for trying crazy diets, in the past she has tried the master cleanse (lemon detox diet), in which you only consume a mixture of water, lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. But recently Beyonce has been following nutritionist Marco Borge’s vegan diet. His diet ban eating meat, dairy products, alcohol and all processed foods for 22 days. Beyonce claims the vegan diet has put her in “best shape” of her life.

The idea behind Borge’s diet is ‘Eat well, move more, stress less, and love more’. He believes the more food looks like it did in nature, the healthier and better it is. He recommends only eating until you’re 80% full, as then you don’t feel stuffed and overfed. Beyonce was incredibly surprised with the results she got out of the vegan diet, not only did she appear skinnier and healthier looking, but claims to have increased energy levels, better sleep, improved digestion, clarity and incredibly positive feeling for my actions and the effects it would have on those around me and the environment” and adds “I couldn’t believe how much of our health we can control with food”

The vegan diet has 5 rules to follow, they are: eat plant based foods as opposed to processed, eat 3 meals a day, try to aim for around 80% carbohydrates a day, with 10% fat & 10% protein, and aim to fit at least 30 minutes exercise in a day. Also drinking as much water as possible. You can’t drink enough! Borge adds that a successful diet is 75% diet, and 25% exercise.
