3 day smoothie diet

Welcome to the 3 day smoothie diet.Smoothie

The plan is easy: for 3 days, you are going to give your body freshly pressed smoothies and drink a lot of hot, warm or cold water (ideally filtered).  We recommend you to drink a lot in order to help with the detoxification process.  By a lot, we mean 2 to 3 litres a day. So make sure you stock up on tea (herbal, green, matcha, etc.) as well as infused water which is a great companion during your cleanse. Our favorite: cucumber, mint & lemon infused water!

As you already know, the goal of a smoothie diet is not to starve yourself for 3 days, but really to replace the traditional cooked meals with tons of blended veggies and fruits so that your body doesn’t have to do much to digest them and can use the energy and good nutrients to clean and repair itself. So you will be slurping your meals instead of chewing them.

The cleanse is designed for one person, on a 4 smoothies a day program. But you can make as many smoothies as you want. We encourage you to make a smoothie every time you are hungry to avoid cravings. You can’t overdose on smoothies, that’s the beauty of it.

Day #1
Smoothie #1: Bananola

You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 240ml of almond milk
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 banana
  • 10-15 strawberries
  • 30g of granola
  • Ice (to taste)

Before Starting
Press one lemon before starting. Cover and set aside.
Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #2: Fruity With A Touch Of Zing
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 240ml almond milk
  • 1 lime
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • Strawberry silken tofu (250 ml)
  • Ice (to taste)

Before Starting
Juice the lime using a citrus press or juicer. Keep the juice in a closed container.
Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #3: Choco Cravings
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • Chocolate soy milk, 240ml
  • Kale, 1 to 2 leaves
  • Banana, 1
  • Almonds (soaked in water for at least 2h), 168g
  • Frozen strawberries, 125g
  • Unsweetened chocolate powder, 1 to 2 tablespoons
  • Ice (to taste)

Before Starting

Wash cut and freeze one cup of strawberries at least 5 hours before making the smoothie.

Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #4: Purple Feel Better Smoothie
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 1 pear
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 5 leaves lettuce
  • 200g sweet potato, cooked
  • 240ml almond milk
  • Ice (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Day #2
Smoothie #1: Energize Me Smoothly
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 250ml coconut milk
  • 1 avocado
  • 120g vanilla dairy free yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 handful spinach
  • Ice (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #2: Fighting Bacteria
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 100g blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 240ml almond milk
  • Ice (to taste)
  • Sweetener (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #3: Watermelon Detox Smoothie
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 1/4 watermelon
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 240ml coconut milk
  • Ice (to taste)
  • Sweetener (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #4: Help Me Digest Smoothly
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup papaya
  • 1 bunch mint leaves
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 240ml non-dairy milk
  • Ice (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Day #3
Smoothie #1: Smooth Morning
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 240ml almond milk
  • Ice (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #2: Green Freshness
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list

  • 250ml coconut water
  • 1 banana
  • 230g cherries, pitted
  • 1 kiwi, peeled
  • ¼ cucumber
  • 5g basil
  • Ice (to taste)

Time to make the smoothie
Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #3: Detoxifying High Fibre Smoothie
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list:

  • 130g raspberries
  • 1 pear
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 240ml almond milk
  • Ice (to taste)

Blend all ingredients together, liquid first ice last, until desired smoothness.

Smoothie #4: Healthy Smooth Blood
You will need a blender or food processor
Ingredient list

  • 6 strawberries
  • 230g nectarine
  • Half a bok choy
  • 240ml almond milk
  • Ice (to taste)
