People ‘may benefit’ from specific weight loss targets

It might prove beneficial for people to set themselves specific targets if they are looking to cut down on their weight, one expert believes.

Nutrition writer Maire Brody is reported by RINF News 3 as saying that losing weight can be a fast process for some.

She commented: “It can be very useful to set a specific goal for yourself, as this can be very motivating.”

However, when looking to shed some pounds, people might need to find a programme that is tailored to their own particular needs, the expert went on to say.

A number of factors will need to be taken into account before consumers are given weight loss programmes to follow, Ms Brody added.

These include “your body type” and “how much weight you have to lose”, she pointed out.

Meanwhile, the UK’s obesity problems were recently highlighted by the former Olympic star Denise Lewis.

Have you set yourself weight loss goals?

it would help people out a lot if they had an individual diet plan specified for their needs, as some people may find certain diet plans hard to follow. at least if they had their own it will make it more easier and simple to follow.
